Wow! 40 years. It can't be. I am happily married for the second time. I have four children that are all KSU graduates. Chris (civil engineer) is in Lenexa with my four grandchildren, twins Scott (CPA) and Jeremy (elementary school teacher) are in Dallas and my daughter Julie (marketing major) is in Omaha. Gary and I love to travel, cruising mostly and just returned from Italy. I work for the Community Blood Center in Kansas City. I am a donor recruiter for most of Johnson County so if you live here and donate blood, look for me at your drive. | Comment: We live in Mission Tejas here in East Texas. I've lived here since 1982 basically and right here since 1994. I did live in Phoenix, Az. for a few years with my work. I had to retire in 2010 after a Heart Attack & a light Stroke. I had a Triple Bypass in June of 2016 and do'in pretty good now-a-days. Thanks to the Good Lord. I properly won't be able to come to 50th Reunion, as bad as I want to. I'm like so many of the others have said; I just can't believe how fast time has went. Also, If any of you Pray....I'd like for you to Pray for my wife as she is Bed Ridden with Mini-Strokes. Her name is Carla and we need all the Pray's we can get. Thank You. | |

A long journey since then: KU, Oxford University, medical school, etc. I am currently the Selina Okin Kim Conner Professor in Arts and Sciences and Professor of Anthropology and Obstetrics & Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis. I have been married to Helen for almost 40 years and we have two sons, Jimmy and Thom. Jimmy works as an intelligence analyst in Washington, DC, and Thom is a professional juggler with Cirque du Soleil! We really did had a child run off and join the circus! After high school, I attended junior college and then graduated from Pittsburg State University with a BSBA in Accounting. In 2005, I got my MBA from the University of Phoenix. I've worked for the same company, Farmers Insurance, since 1973. Moved in 1980 to CA and Columbus, Ohio. Moved to Baltimore, MD in 2001 and back to KC in December, 2005. I've been both an Accounting Manager and an Internal Audit Manager. I've been married for 31 years to wife Chris (deceased 17 JAN 2020) and we have two children Jayson 22 and Brooke 19. |
