Recently retired as a Program Manager with the State of Washington after working from 1993-2016. Have lived in Olympia Washington since 1987. Haven't been back to the midwest since 1982. Comment: I'm still living in Texas but now I'm outside Austin on the edge of the Texas Hill Country in Spicewood where "the life is good!"  





Dan and I have been married for 30 years and our daughter Emily and her husband Casey gave us the best present ever last September with the birth of our first grandchild Katherine!  





I love retirement and think I'm actually busier now playing golf (badly) and Mah Jongg, volunteering at our local no-kill rescue, organizing trips to art museums and galleries all over Texas.....and being a grandmother.  





Looking forward to seeing everyone at our 50th but still in shock that we have reached that milestone!

I lived in Hawaii for some years and co-owned a video production company. Check out www.tropicalvisions.com for some rad volcano footage. Ivory and Sage,my kids, grew up on the Big Island. Both live on the Mainland now. Ivory in CA, Sage in CO. Both successful and happy. Ivory is a successful model www.ivorymay.com and Sage in Marketing.





I have been a marketing/biz dev director since moving back to Denver 19 years ago. Lots of different companies lots of diversity. It's been a good life so far. I have much for which to be thankful.

Comment: Retired and living in Tucson, Bike 30 miles 3 times with an "old folks" bike club, read and garden as well as you can in a desert. No rich Kansas soils and it does get hot in summer.


50 years is a long time. If you don't feel it then just think, the year we graduated the classes of 1918 were clebrating their 50th.


Will post  a current picture as soon has I can get it photo shopped well enough to take off a decade. Will become a grandfather for the first time in February. Of all the great fantacies I have had over the years, sleepiing with someones grandmothr has never been one of them. My wife of 44 years tells me to get over it. I am 6 months older than her and she can complain too

Comment: My husband Tommy and I live in Topeka and will soon celebrate our 38th anniversary.  Both our kids are now living in the KC area.  Our son is a RN in the PICU at Children's Mercy and our daughter is a student at KUMC.  Tommy and I are both retired.  We are finding its great to be able to do what we want when we want to do it.  We haven't been able to make any of the reunions but maybe the next one.  Happy Birthday Everyone!!

Recently, Facebook has connected me with a handfull of classmates--one of whom was Ray Wolf, who passed away two days ago.  Lots of memories have been stirred up.  Those days were so innocent and carefree--how lucky and privlidged we were. 





Once our three year old is fully vaccinated, I will be alot more comfortable with social interactions.  Looking forward to the next gathering--so stay busy and stay healthy so we can visit then!

Comment: Graduated from KU and married Cheryl Parrish (from Great Bend, Ks) in 73.  Cheryl lost her life May 2019.  We have two children and five grandchildren.  Taught science for 4 years then got into the Safety field.  Retired and volunteer at the OP Arboretum.
